A separate analysis in the age group that showed a nurse who feel they face the pressures of work have been a possibility of 60 percent for heart attack, while those who said they faced too much pressure has probably almost doubled for esophageal disease.

All the findings were otherwise true even after other risk factors considered.

"This study adds a stack of previous evidence showing harmful effects of excessive psychological demands on the job to heart health. But these studies are among the very few who show their impact among women," wrote the researchers, from Glostrup University Hospital in Danish , in the study, was quoted by the British news agency, Reuters.

They say further studies are now needed to identify what contributes to a high pressure job in question.

Heart disease is the leading killer for both men and women in Europe, the United States and many other rich countries. Along with diabetes, heart and blood vessels responsible for one third of deaths worldwide in 2005, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) - which is based in Geneva.

June Davison, a cardiac nurse ill patients at the British Heart Foundation, said the depression in the workplace stree means employees who may have unhealthy habits and increase their risk for esophageal cardiac disorders, as quoted from Reuters.

"Workers are depressed may be reached for cigarettes, snack foods and alcohol to make them feel better," Davison said in a comment via electronic mail.

"If you feel depressed, you should try and fix a positive and active manner during working hours," he said.
